Due to heightened awareness of racism as a public health crisis, there is a strong call to action that future nurses are prepared to be advocates for health equity and inclusion. Discussions around these topics can be difficult and result in learners feeling an array of emotions including anxiety, discomfort, anger, and shame. Facilitators of these difficult conversations need to have effective debriefing skills to create a brave space for learners to have an honest dialogue and learn from each other. This webinar will discuss effective debriefing techniques and describe ground rules for creating an inclusive debriefing environment.
