This session is designed to help individuals connect cognitively and emotionally with the concepts of mitigating microaggressions and promoting inclusion. Speaker will use a humanistic approach to teaching inclusive excellence and antiracism that allows participants to explore these concepts in a learning environment that fosters self-discovery rather than hopelessness or defensiveness. We will define microaggressions and as well as explore what it means to be equity minded and anti-racist.
